Super Safari Hurghada: morning vs afternoon
The desert Super Safari runs in two timings. Here is how the morning and afternoon departures differ on heat, light and the Bedouin dinner, so you can pick.
The Super Safari is a desert adventure by 4x4 and quad bike, usually finishing with a Bedouin-style dinner. It runs at two times of day, and the choice mostly comes down to heat, light and whether you want to be out for sunset.
Afternoon departure
The afternoon timing is the more popular option because it ends around sunset. The desert light is softer for photos, temperatures ease as the day cools, and the evening finishes with dinner under the stars. It is a good choice in the warmer months.
Morning departure
A morning start means cooler air at the beginning of the ride and leaves your afternoon and evening free. It suits travelers who prefer an early activity or who have plans later in the day.
- • Afternoon: softer light, cooler evening, sunset and dinner
- • Morning: cooler start, free afternoon and evening
- • Both use 4x4 and quad, with a Bedouin-style dinner
